Do you hate people that keep wild caught animals or something? I sure seems like that to me. Oh, NEWS FLASH! The demise of wild populationof fish has never been linked DERECTLY to collecters!

Yes it is. Collecting has a GIGANTIC impact on numbers of both fish and reptiles, and is actually why many reptiles are on endangered/threatened lists. Maybe not from people like you who are collecting a native species not on an industrial level, but you have to be stupid to say it wouldn't make an impact, as reptiles and amphibians are in decline world wide.

I'm happy you have decided that you can look after it and keep it, so it wasn't all in vain, and I wish you all the best with it. I'm also tired of looking at this thread, and as everything has been said more than once, it's closed.
