I am not even going to comment on the death of the Eartheater, because enough has been said about that already.

I will say this though, turtles are magnificent creatures, but unfortunately they are extremely messy and put a huge load on your filtration system. Add in the fact that the type of turtle that you have gets HUGE as an adult and that they tend to relish fish as part of their diet, you have another disaster waiting to happen. If nothing else, with the now small turtle in there, you are going to have to do massive water changes every week in order to keep all the inhabitants alive.

I know a thing or two about turtles and they are awesome animals, but they are also very high maintenance animals as well that in practice should never really be housed with fish you want to keep alive.

Professional manner? MFK is an online forum.
Educated? I identified the fish, brought up the fact that they should be responsibly rehoused, and gave a quick explanation why.

It doesn't hurt to be direct sometimes either, especially when you see someone mixing fish from a genre that you love with aggressive centrals without even knowing what species they are.

That begs another question. You bought them from a shop - did you even ask what they were? I'm sure they would have known.
lol doubt that. i bought a treo of gold sevs a while back at my LFS for $2 each because "no one seems to want albino dempseys anymore" lol most lfs ppl could care less as long as you spend what theyre asking. and the ones that do care dont know what theyre talkin bout.
