I love trying to catch snapper!

I couldn't find a cast net, and I could have used one this weekend. Where can I get one?

Ewurm - try modells.com I don't know if they have stores outside of new york but the cast nets are cheap. They don't function as well in a lake unless you have some deep water, my experience was they caught all kinds of stumps, logs, aquatic plants, etc. I use mine in deeper saltwater to catch herring and moss bunker for fishing. Works like a charm.

Another idea - if you don't have a partner for the siene, get the 4x4 and place a broom handle on either end, works great if you are by yourself.
