Epsom salt twice a day....it's really worked well for me. But, it takes time. A couple weeks--and new fish may catch it, too. Divide em off, syringe if they won't eat, keep up 1-2 feelings a day with Epsom soaked food for a week or two, they'll get better.

Hex is bad news, but you CAN get your fish through it.

Problem is, now you can't trust new fish. I'm gonna quarantine new fish from now on. But, even that is no guarantee it won't break out again. It's a protozoan that's always there.

What's the worst they can do... Die?**

Sorry about the bad grammar guys my phone decides to correct grammer that doesn't need correcting sometimes and I don't know how to edit previous post here.

Update: The biggest cichlid in the tank stopped eating about 3 days ago his breathing has gotten heavy and probably will be dead within 24 hours. Sad. The ones that are still eating seem to be doing good but the white feces is still present in the tank. My red zebra mbuna hasn't ate in weeks but seems to be recovering. Still not eating though. Still feeding the Epsom salt/Metro soaked food.

Breathing heavy? I didn't have that symptom at all.

Yeah that's been usually the last symptom in my tank (that I notice) before they go belly up. With the exception of the white feces and lack of appetite they seem normal. Stay active and colorful until the breathing gets heavy then they usually die within 24 hours.

The fish that have been eating the medicated food have seemed normal latley. No white feces (from them) that I've seen today or all day yesterday... Yet.

Actually I take that last part back. Just walked by the tank and everyone but 1 fish had little white thin feces hanging. I am lost. Maybe I been treating the wrong thing the whole time?

Update? Are they all eating? You having luck getting epsom soaked food into them? If so, did they get better? Or have you had some more deaths?

It may take 5 days or more for them to stop shedding the intestine mucus. Mine took 3 days just to start eating, and they've been on the epsom soaked food for well over a week, 2 weeks some of them. 1 of them, I thought he was healthy, and he wasn't--so it was back on epsom soaked food for him. Takes patience.

Update: ok one more fish has quit eating so only 3 of 6 fish are eating now. I felt bad for my "x-alpha" as he looked like he was suffering so I decided to give him a shot at survival and hit the tank with Clout... Figured half the fish were not eating (and are on the way to death) anyway so might as well put a dent in the 100 Clout tabs I have.

Did 30% WC and Clout at full strength day 1. Did a 30% WC and Clout full strength day 2 since symptoms were still present. Day 3 I did nothing. Today is day 4, I just did a 30% WC and will do one more dose of Clout full strength.

The fish that are eating have been getting epsom/metro soaked NLS pellets and are still having the thin white feces from time to time so I'm very skeptical as to their recovery but the Clout treatment has seemed to be helping the "x-alpha" as he is now swimming around. Still showing no interest in food though.

Will keep you guys updated.
