Honestly you dont seem calm. Infact you seem enraged.
You've down right lied (several times) just to prove a point and win and an argument. A side of you i didnt know existed. Know doubt your reading skills are fine tuned but maybe the anger is clouding it ? 1st page. I pretty much agreed with everyone and when i didnt it was done with respect.

Your quote doesnt show me censoring anyone just trying to get the discussion on track. Were you upset that i was trying to take the attention away from you ? I just felt you're point was made. You could have continued i just wanted to distance myself from the repetitive back and forth.

If your goal is to have us go nuclear and get the thread locked i'd rather not have that happen. Im sure you can get this done without nuclear option anyway.

LOL, third grade in elementary school was more than 3 years ago. I was like 8 or 9 years old at the time. I have a dog, and a flowerhorn.

Hello; Again you misunderstand. There was not a group of guys. At most two of us exchanged some comments in a PM. We two were bothered about how enjoyable threads were getting shut down and an idea got tossed out. One of us started this thread to have an open discussion in the hope someone might have a decent idea. There was not an organized group of "you guys" in the sense you are trying to imply. There were individuals who decided to make some suggestions in the thread not some group.

You and your comrades talk about censorship, yet that's exactly what you were attempting to do. Wanting to censor members that could join, or not join, according to whatever standards are decided (age, years of membership, etc),

Hello; Again you attempt to twist what went down. We were doing what I call "brainstorming". The process allows for lots of input suggestions that get further refined. Not every thing suggested becomes part of a final solution just because it was suggested. However the process allows stuff to be thrown in at the start with the understanding much or even most will be discarded with further review. Eventually finding the faults in some of the suggestions is part of the process. You tried to derail the thread and the process.

That you did not approve of some of the suggestions is not a problem. To me at least, it was the underhanded approach you use. I have seen this same approach from you in some other threads. Picking some point and flooding a thread with long posts about it. Twisting things around so others feel compelled to get stuff straight which sends a thread down side issue paths in this case for pages.

Hello; Each of us forum members can start a PM with some other members. So you can start a PM any time you wish. You have some options such as who you invite into the PM. Right now the limit of members in a PM is six. So you can invite five others. That said please do not invite me.

LOL, I have no idea what you are talking about, Frank, and/or Jeff. I lied? Really? Ok fellas. This is not a derailment by me, this was me commenting about a forum that I am a member of. The discussion was on track, but apparently not the track that you wanted to see. Your comment above, Frank, seemed clear to me, you only wanted input on how this was going to work, for you, and others like minded. IMO, and IME, it would have never worked. But I didn't attempt to stop the discussion, positive or negative spin. That's the difference Frank.

And had some of the suggestions being put out there been implemented, it clearly would have involved censoring who could, and who could not take place in this behind the scenes room. Age limits, years of membership on MFK, is that not a form of censorship? You are restricting a certain segment of the membership from seeing/reading what would have been taking place in that folder. A folder that you gents were "brainstorming" about, that involved a different TOS from the rest of the membership here. Call it brainstorming, or whatever you like - this is what you were considering. I thought it was stupid, and not in the best interest of the forum. I'm just a single voice, so I'm not sure why everyone got so hyper defensive.

I am not implying anything, I'm only going by what has been posted - such as this started via PM, which implies more than just Frank. Did I miss something, guys? (plural)

Maybe this should have simply stayed in a PM? You chose to make it public, I chose to get involved. Underhanded approach? That's laughable, but most of what you post I can barely sort out, Jeff. Maybe that's the problem, it's all just a big misunderstanding, you think?
