after he had taken the live feeders, i decided to try and give him some silversides and he gobbled it right up then tested on some tilapia and gobbled that up too. I am super relieved now that i dont have to feed him live.No way!? So quickly after having been fed live feeders? This makes me suppose it had learned to accept both live and non-live before it gotten to you.
Too bad it wasn't something else such as tilapia strips or better but at least it is eating.Mine finally took feeders today!

I have no idea and I wouldn't bother with it at this point, just keep feeding it what it will take and let it's body fill out. What kind of feeders did you give it?I wish....now i guess the question is how long will it take him to get off live if he even dose

Is there a way you can set up some kind of partition to keep armies from the feeders?Rosies......i risk my 3 armatus in the tank switching back to live but ill continue to do feeders for a little till he fills out.... ill try and throw frozen in every once in a while to see if the armies bite
