IN YOUR HEAD
i have a tank with
1-15" silver aro
1-9" florida gar
1-12" rtcxtsn
1-12" common pleco
8-5" redtail tinfoils
3-4" bala sharks
2-4" yellow bullheads
and some crayfish

could a tiger muskie work i know it will try to eat the tinfoils, balas, bullheads, and crayfish. the question is about the preditors

not a good idea. Water would be too warm and they needs some room to swim.

what are the temp. requrements for a tiger muskie? i have the room and the cat is going in a pond maybe the muskie?

How much room do you have? Low 70s would be the best, if not cooler IMO.

the gar would eat him not good I have tiger muskie two and a spotted one in a 75 gal with a orino had a few redfin as well as grass pike the all got eaten

a 10'x10'x3' pond being consructed now i have a 6'x2'x2' tank till my pond is finished and i will have a 6' round pool to house if it fights with the others in the tank. the tank is 80-82f now. the lakes around my house are at 76f now and they have tigers, pure strain and pikes. i don't think that if i put my tank to 78f it should be to bad?

my gar is 9" the muskie would be 7-9" i would be more worried about the muskie eatting the gar.

Sounds like you're going to do it no matter what! Have fun:)

not sure yet but i really wont one but the wife will freak if i get another tank so i have been doing alot of thinking about it. i just don't want to get the fish to have it be food for something or have it kill my other fish.

Tiger muskys are not good tank fish, they grow fast. I think they could handle the temps but in a year or two you would be left with the only the tiger and rtc/tsn. Or maybe just the tiger musky if somehow it out grows the catfish as well.
