Thanks, I just called earlier today they said they got a black river puffer in that have been there for 3 months or so? They got 4 left, not sure which one that is cause there are multiple puffers mislabeled as such.
I was just there and saw them, 2 are a little beat up, 1 has good coloration, and another on has good fins but not so great coloration. I'm pretty sure they are abeis, I'll do some googling to make sure.
One of the ones that were a little beat up (half chewed off dorsal) that had the best colors payed some attention to me, also the one with complete fins when I put my finger to the glass came up too. Another place that has them is the fish factory, or atleast they did when I called. Their web sight is in a earlier post.
No problem, you may want to make separate trips because, aquatics unlimited and the fish factory are around 5 min away from each other, and hoffers is in the other side of town.
Agreed, I got the green one that was still swimming around he was sitting in front of the glass looking at me so I didn't even notice him in the beginning. He was by the glass on the right, there were 3 2 of them were looking pretty bad 1 was really bad. He was really mad the whole way home, and is waiting in a Tupperware till I get back to madison tonight.
If they kept them separate then there would probably be 2 healthy ones left, apparently they've been here since april so I was surprised by how healthy this one was.
