Tiger shark on display in Dallas

Not sure when they took the Morlets off but that tank is now housing a similarly sized american alligator and that snapping turtle as of Saturday that is. Maybe its just a temp thing...

Just curious, but do you know where Dallas World collected the tiger shark? I would assume in the gulf right off the coast of Texas somewhere.

Probably Galveston Bay. Acutally I have no idea, but that would be sweet!

Beautiful specimen thats forsure. Great to see another in captivity hope it fareswell. Unless collected personally I bet that ran them a pretty penny, last time I saw one on a suppliers list it was in the tens of thousands.

I would guess either Dynasty Marine out of Marathon FL or the crew from Predator World in Branson caught it.
