It would be nice of you to part out your text. hit return from time to time.
Paragraphs make it so much easier and pleasant to read.

Thanks in advance

Ok. I wondered how long it would be before someone attacked my literary style or grammar. I guess I got my answer. I didn't think people on message boards cared so much about grammar. I did know it was coming though since at some point people tend to make fun of someone's use of the English language to make low blows.

Sorry janson but a fish that grows as fast as a TSN should outgrow that size tank in a year.
I don't think Jason mention what type of shovel nose catfish he had. Hemisorubim platyrhynchos is a type of shovel nose catfish. For all we know, Jason could of had one of these types of catfish. Plus "porthole" shovel nose cats do take a while to grow to 2'. Ariopsis paucus is another small-ish shovel nose catfish that takes a while to grow. Lima's to are small shovel nose.

So, before all you guys and girls start jumping to conclusions about bad husbandry, Get your fact strait first then start flaming.

As for the OP.........Really?

Thank you for pointing out the kind of thing I was trying to.

Dude dont take it like that. I enjoy reading what you posted its just such a block its hard for people who have poor eyesight ( like me ) to read when its so compressed.
I am in no way attacking your literary style or grammar.
Sorry if i made you fell that way.

Jason1919@yahoo.com didn't state what kind of Shovel noes he had.

You are correct he did not say he had a TSN,just a shovelnose, and yes some of use assumed without checking that he meant TSN which may not be the case.Yes there are a few different types of shovelnose catfish (Phseudoplatystoma fasciatum) TSN, (Sorubim lima) Lima Shovelnose or (Hemisorubim platyrhynchos) Porthole Shovelnose to name a few and yes some do not grow as big as the TSN,But the TSN is the most common that get seen in the aquarium trade as far as I am aware. The lima will grow to nearly 2 ft in length, still probably to big for a 135 IMO, and a porthole to around 20" and if jason has one of these then no problem,I will happpilly appolgise for assuming that he had a TSN and yes I would agree that the smaller of the two species mentioned would be OK for 3 years in a 72" x 18" X ? tank which I assume the 135 was.

You talkin to me?
