I would get a tignirinus... I think is how you spell it..
To go along with the TSN if you had the extra cash...
Both look kinda similiar when get larger,,, but both have a nice pattern...

i dont know if i am willing to pay 250 dollars for a catfish thats similar to a 25 dollar cat but they are pretty cool i could get rid of the fh and pike because i really like them idk any more opinions appreciated

would i be able to keep my silver aro with him since he is a slimmer fish ????

have tsn about 75cm sharing 6000lt cement tank with redtail similar size, have tilapia in tank now about 10-15cms started with about 40 lasted well until the got to a decent size now less than 10 and at present rate will be gone in a week or so they will eat almost anything when hungry

had my tsn sharing tank with silver aro same size tho had problems with aro biting tsn all the time so had to separate them

well you can get a bichir (Big one)...ST.. My 1ft plus with 2 ST.. always bully them and try to eat them but mouth too small..

Why not just enjoy keeping the Tiger on it's own, I have a 21'' RTC called Homer in a 450 gallon tank, he/she is a true pet, eats out of my hand, likes it's belly stroked and to me you just can't get a more impressive fish than a big catfish, I would never want to add any other fish.

Chris.

there is nothing like one huge catfish by itself. but just keep a close eye on your tank. you will be able to keep larger fish with the tsn, just make sure they are all fed regularly. when a large catfish get hungry the other fish will disappear real quick.

i decided to get two juruense cats in a month or two when i get a 300 gallon they get about two foot right
:)
