how hard are they to keep? i might be getting a 12 incher. wild caught though. anything special i should know about these guys? feeding habit etc? have kept rays before. will be kept with a chilli red arowana thx.

They get very big very fast.

Alos, they can be hard to keep alive if WC.

Ive heard that WC Tigers are very difficult to feed....

From looking at similar threads it seems that people struggle to get em to feed or they come in with Death curl.

And "tiger" meaning P. menchacai right? Sometimes P. schroderi are called "tiger" when exported.

they are a senastive ray... and not too easy to get them on other foods... is this a fresh wild caught or long term captive???

if your not gonna be a baby about it and will starve the ray for a week atleast(maybe longer) i had my small one on many different typres of food....

Make sure you have plenty of blackworms on hand as soon as you get the ray.

I thought that they were schroederi was just scientific speculation, and it wasn't fully confirmed yet?
