I thought that they were schroederi was just scientific speculation, and it wasn't fully confirmed yet?

hmm might be possible... i thought it was posted or somebody told me they are all shroederi now...

lots of live black worms and cledan water... some night crawler or other earh worms be good too... keep the tank dark and all should go well

oh talking about tiger ray and not flower. straight from exporters. any tips would be nice. ive been reading around the net already. anything else would help!

That is the problem...exporters are getting the names crossed when using common names over Latin.

What alot of people thought they had as "tiger" are acually schroderi....not menchacai. However, there are a few true menchacai out there.

From what I've seen, there is a great difference in ability to raise the 2 different species.

If you check out their pattern, you will see the difference. Its very unmistakable. At least to me.

Zoodiver - how do you tell the difference between menchacai and schroederi then?

Pattern is one rough way. I'm also told tails are different, but that is no something I'm 100 percent on. Pattern on the schoderi is more broken (not that pattern is a great positive way to tell, since we know so many variations occur).

I'm told this one is a schorderi (Shedd Aq):
