Tiger Trout!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
all you have to do is read the progress of this thread and see how people reacted emotionally instead of cool, calm and collected. If people had used their head and just answered the questions, Wes would never have needed to clear the air. So please chill out in the future and answer the questions that threads are asking instead of flaming and ranting about unrelated topics. Is that too much to ask for?

That's just immature & disrespectful, everything he commented is true regarding this topic. He Meant No matter how far people strive to set a natural habitat for their pets, it's never going to replace the wild...so point is when an animal is captured it's doomed from there  Go play Peta somewhere else, he didn't mean it's fine to put any fish in any size tank like and idiot would think.

Every individual has their own morals to live by, and i guess i can say i appreciate you sharing your input on fish keeping, but seriously comparing your Knowledge with FuguPuff is like comparing Eistein with Billy Bob Thorton.

All Hail Fugupuff!

We would not have this website if not for the extreme hobbyist here.
How was what I said immature and disrespectfull?!? I dont care how many posts or fish someone has......that dosent impress me or your peta rant (I fish and hunt) you dont know me very well and I dont even pretend to know you (and after that rant definately dont want to); what I am impressed by is successfull, responsible fishkeeping that promotes the hobby, not Ill learn after I kill and cripple as many of Gods creatures
as I can. " tank size., no matter what you keep them in, its not big enough, compared to the lakes or rivers they inhabit" is what fugupuff said.....no one Ive seen says you need to have a pond for a Bluespotted Sunfish, but everybody who has some common sense and intelligence does say you will eventually need a pond (or very large aquarium) for Alligator Gar or a Blue Catfish. I took issue with the statement " As for tank size, yes the native fish keepers of America are very uptight about this subject. At the same times its ok to eat the damned thing or go hunting, but not to keep a trout in a 60 gallon tank. " Many native fishkeepers are conservationist or enviromentalist.......you think thats bad , check out the Nanfa website its filled with very good fishkeepers. So Fugupuff is Einstein (its spelled with an N in it) and Im Billy Bob Thorton Lol .......best laugh Ive had in a long time , thanks.

The funny thing is he never said he was going to keep it in his 60 gallon. Re-read the first sentence he wrote.
I never said he did .....reread what I wrote, I was responding to what Fugupuff had posted.

lets all get along now :) happy fish keeping. Most tropical fish people keep pacus, red tail cats, arapaima, all in a tank too small. If the nanfa people were to rule fish keeping, we would all be out of a hobby!

 The only people who care about how many posts they have are 14 year old kids.

I agree with you on the matter of proper tank size but for the last time.... this thread is not about that subject, all you are doing is derailing the thread.

I didnt mean to derail the thread, I am a native fish keeper (and a member of Nanfa) and was merely responding to an accusation leveled at us. I love the look of Tiger trout and applaud the fact you would want to keep one (I would to if I could afford it). I agree theres way to much bickering going on in Mfk these days which is why my posts started with the "chill out" statement; sometimes we have to just agree to disagree.

You were doing some pretty good derailing just a few posts back...
