Tried the fillet dipped in garlic juice for the third night and i think my tig ate it. He appears to have a full tummy. Im pretty sure the ornate bichir in the tank couldnt have eaten it because the fillet is like half his size. Took out the bichir from the tig tank and will try again tonight :) crossing my fingers

Nice!!! Once he is taking that good, start stuffing with pellets.

With the ornate bichir out of the tank , now im sure my tig is eating the fillets dipped in garlic. Thing is i think hes not gonna take it while im watching lol. I stayed in the dark watching and waiting for him to eat his food but he dint take it. So i went up to sleep and in the morning the fillet was gone.

Which brings me to my next question. Im thinking of putting him in a comm with my Asian aro and i think he wont be able to eat because very seldom does food reach the floor in that tank. Will the tig learn over time to eat once food is dropped in the tank or should i just keep him alone in 1 tank which would be very sad.
