Aros move non-stop.
Perhaps large silver dollars or tinfoil barbs could work... they are very aggressive feeders though. A school of >1' suncats (~10 of them) often hangs out in the open. Same for a group of medium pims like blochii, tetramerus, ornatus.
Food for thought: I tried mixing clown loaches with my juruense once. The jur LOVED the taste of them.
I still think in a very large tank, adult clown loaches could be fine with an adult tig/jur but I cannot be 100% sure, having never tried it myself. The problem with the clowns is that they grow so slowly and adults are very expensive.Lol guess they are out then, they're not the cheapest way to feed a cat haha
IDK of any significant behavioral or rearing differences between a tig and a jur. If anyone does, that'd be interesting to hear.

Chicxulub, what were the sizes of yours and what size was the tank and were there hiding spots?
Its amazing what they can inhale. My Jur when he was 9" got two 2.5" red head geos and swallowed them whole. Thought his belly would explode. At the time my jur was ~7" and the CLs were about 3". I had a sand substrate with a bunch of rock work and driftwood for the loaches to hide in. No matter what I did, it always seemed as though the jury would always get them. The jury would tripod up and hold still like they do and the loaches would be out and about and would apparently not recognize the cat as a predator time and again and would swim right up to her. Then slurp, up goes the loach lol
We are all in the same boat, guys. My 3' TSN named "Terroristo" cost me $30 but has eaten/killed about a grand worth of other fish in a 4000 gal pond - fish I actually paid for, not freebies.
