this is what they look like when they die.
it looks to be some type of retention possibly at cellular level, the fish go rock hard even when alive as if its retaining water.
as i advised this was at probably 90-95 degs, i am not exactly sure as mt temp guage went off the scale at 88 degs but the air temp was well over that and the tan had direct sunlight.

Yikes man, I hate seeing Tig's dead. And i have to agree 90-95 is pretty high. Sorry for that loss!

Please do not mention his name.

I WANT THIS Thread OPEN

Since he runs the show over there, I can not state this stuff to him on that site. What is funny is he is making it sound like I am scared to post this on their site. What he is not stating is they will not allow me to post this there. It hurts his feelings.

That is why everyone thinks he is god. He Talks crap to the members and the members are not allowed to respond, so it makes it look like he is the man.

He is reading this thread, so I want to keep it open. Most people know who this is and if you don't I will tell yo uin a PM. Even then, don't post his name on here.

I sometimes think 90 degrees is pushing it for the discus as well which is why I just recommend 86 degrees as the maximum.

Now if I was this other person I would take your comment as an attack on me and proceed to flame you.

I'm a real man though, I don't have to get down on my knees to get respect.

I'm sure Lupin meant no disrespect. He just stated that 90 seems high for any fish.;)

I wasn't made at him. That is what these forums are about, everyones personal experiences.

That is what started this problem with the other vendor.

He was selling boxes of Tigs. Another member posted that last time he bought a box of tigs half of them died and he was wondering what would cause it.

The vendor responded that all Tigs that are kept in water above 78 degrees ( I think that was the magical number) die.

I then posted that tigs need alot of oxygen and as the temp goes up the oxygen level goes down unless you have powerheads or airstones.

He took that as I was saying he was wrong and proced to start his bashing of me.
