i feel like a housewife that just picked out the tile for her bathroom remodel

i think this tile is PERFECT. exactly what i wanted; dark substrate but not pitch black. it has a nice mix of black and gray. its called "charcoal black" marble and was on sale for $2/sq. ft.

i already bought the cases i need to do the whole tank. so, did i make a good decision? :naughty:

I'm a sucker for clean dark bottomed tanks... Number 2 in that pic is my vote....

edit: Just saw that you went with it... lol... Alright, good decision!

restart the poll, thats the best choice of all

my choice before you messed up the poll woulda been 4 fo sho lol...but i think you made a great choice, i think thats gonna look sweet! question though j....how are you going to go abouts removing the sand-all at once or a little at a time? i remember once when i removed my substrate all at once it made my parimeters spike due to the missing bb in the gravel, just curious...thanks

thanks :) i took it all out at once. i have tons of ceramic media in a 90g sump so that will be more than enough

Werd ! I wanna see some tile action ! Bet that tank would look awesome with the dark stuff :) Cant wait.

How are you gonna tile over that plugged hole or bulkhead I think.... in the bottom btw ?
