well it will be about two weeks before it's done. I'm gonna borrow a friends 240 and drain the tank. for those two bulkheads I'm just gonna cut around them. I really wish they weren't there but oh well

Right on.

did not read all through thread are you going to silicone them down? i would like to do this to my tank but have heard it is a must to silicone as stuff will build up under the tiles.

I like 3 and 4, but voted for 3, because I think the darker color will help bring out the color of the fish.

Hopefully you haven't already decided and bought everything, making this post wonderfully redundant.

i feel like a housewife that just picked out the tile for her bathroom remodel

i think this tile is PERFECT. exactly what i wanted; dark substrate but not pitch black. it has a nice mix of black and gray. its called "charcoal black" marble and was on sale for $2/sq. ft.

i already bought the cases i need to do the whole tank. so, did i make a good decision? :naughty:

Oh bugger, I went and made myself redundant... :irked:

Good choice, by the way, I think I like it better than the others you posted.

hoping to install it this weekend. borrowing my friends empty 240g so can put the fish in there for a few hours :)

J just a sugg. i picked (3) but ive seen some travertine or marble (real) in tile form wwith greens reds and backs the veins being skatered throughout that would look beautiful with the colors in your colection and mabe still a plant or two?And i might add a pretty cheap price at the home depot in so cal.
