Pearl has been on the same system but separate tank for many months. Neither of the male blackies have really had any interest in her but the Pearl has always liked her. Shows no interest in the lady Marbles. First night together the Pearl actually took a barb in the cheek I ended up having to help with getting unstuck. Yes, shortly after he seemed to leave her alone.
Pups should be interesting, but would have much rather had one of the blackies get her. HenxLeo X BDxKing Hen would be neat.
Funny thing is nothing's really changed with the water...... PH is almost 9.
However this could be a very strange coincidence but I've added UVs recently. Midget system got one several months before the big system. Breeding started in the midget system several months before the big system. Very odd coincidence?
Falks didn't seem happy in the big tank so I moved them out. I needed the tank that is tied to the 750 where I was keeping the males for my expecting CB Marbles (all 3 appear to be holding their first litters), so the males had to go back to the big tank.
