What ever you decide to do make sure you spend a great deal of time researching it before doing anything. This is especially true if you decide to do a reef tank. If you have never done one of these before and don't know much about it I strongly suggest you read everything you can to learn and not start anything until you feel very confidant that you know what you are doing. Remember what ever you decide to do you will have living things lives in your hands and the knowledge you bring with you will determine of they live or die.
I have kept 2 1/2 gallon nano cubes and 180 reefs and everything in between! I have 9 tanks now! I've been at this for a long time! If the system is failing, I have plenty of set-ups that can handle the animals if they need to be transitioned. Experience is not the issue here. AND a backup plan is in place. I am not stupid! I already take care of Hundreds of fish, I breed them for lfs. If you give me any idea that I haven't done , I know to reaserch the condtions and requirements. I have done this a thousand times!
