Wow, that Guinea got really nice contrast. Give the Koliba sometime, it'll gain nice contast as well. Mine is not in stable form yet (I mean color), but, once a while it showed nice contrast.

the ones in the three pics with nice contrast are Koliba, and the first two pics show the same Koliba.

So in the 1st pic, the one in front is Koliba. the one in the back sitting on some other bichir is a regular Guinea lapradei (that has light patterns in this case)

I purchased a Lapradei a few weeks ago but I'm not 100% sure what type of Lap it is. What do you guys think? He sort of looks like your Lap but I'm not sure.
