tiny fishing rods

anyone have a fishing rod they carry around in the front seat of their car? you know....for emergency fishing. post pictures and descriptions here.

here's mine....

its a 24'' mini pole i got at a big5 sporting goods. i replaced the dinky stock reel with a 3-ball bearing Daiwa. Right now i'm using it as my carry-on bass setup. I use this setup for fishing the San Diego river for LMB.

i would use it for brook fishing were thhe trees are thick

I just use collapsoble or multipieced poles.

i use it when i'm fishing under trees or in drop shot situations. it has a maximum cast of about 40 feet or so with the setup that i use. i like it because you really have to fight the fish rather than just crank it in with a big rod/big reel. im gonna try to fish for cats in the sd river this summer. i hear there are some blues in there. i'd get murdered! haha.

Yea I agree with the rod being for ice fishing, its kind of funny though if you found it in a store in san diego!
