I do enjoy is when researcher go and document things in the wild and then when their almost mauled to death they're like " my bad, this is why you don't do this sort of thing."

Dang I miss Steve Erwin.

My 'favorite' :irked: is when a wild animal is captured and raised in captivity, and then suddenly everyone is 'shocked' when it mauls its owner.
LOL isnt that what happened to roy horn. The idiot's "pet" lion that he had ever since a cub mauled him during one of his shows, and then everyone went CRAZY over it as if it wasnt expected...

. . . . . . . I want to start a dumbass hunt across the whole USA.

That is a very good idea!!! Want some help? I volunteer and you don't have to ask me twice!

Any idiot that "owns" a wild animal deserves what they get when the animal turns on them. I feel very bad for the innocent lives that are destroyed because some MORON (whish I could say what I wanted to) thought he was Johnny Bad**s because he owned such and such and hasn't been caught.

The 2 y.o. and the woman who's face got ripped-off her skull are paying a very steep price for someone else's stupidity. We the hobbiers are to blame because we brag about how great our dinosaur fish are or we never researched the animal we have and it got too big so we released it into the wild. I just rescued 2 Oscars that were in a 20 gallon tank! Can you imagine how many others have been released into the wild or in a place that is not normally endemic to a species? You can now fish for Oscars and snakeheads in the southern states for that very reason. I agree - lets start eliminating all the dumb-butts first!

Human life is more important than an animals - that's how it is. If you had kids you'd probably understand.

You're being really vague about the show, I know a lot of cultures kill mamba's ect. when they venture into the villages, and they have good reason to do so.

If bulls win the bullfight they are put out to pastor and live a long enjoyable life.

u fail at life u biased......

i dont care if u have kids, animals and ppl are equal, tho its only natural i guess to feel more for our own species

either way i dont feel sorry for those who are injured or killed by animals and new the risks (doesn't include ppl like Steve Irwin)

You still didn't give me an example of where you're coming from, as in what show you saw that made you post this - but thanks for the insults. :)

Anyone who thinks some animal that has been imported from another continent is more important than a person's life needs a serious attitude adjustment.

A lot of you are obviously still young, and it shows in both your posts and your opinions on things. While I can understand the value of animals, habitat's, and a living creatures right to live and let live - I do not condone letting deadly animals roam around a neighborhood just because it's "unfair" to kill it. Let alone destroy an entire habitat and/or species of another animal because it got released into the wrong place. :screwy:

its the whole "humans are most important" bible talk that ruins the planet. nothing was "put here" for us. we are a small part in the grand scheme of things...

Bible talk???
I don't see any.

DBS has some good points.

Also, I doubt any of you would be all "This is a wild animal, it deserves to live and be treated as equal to you or I" when one's mauling your azz.

who on here is vegan? or at the very least vegetarian? if you're a meat eater, you don't have as much ground as you'd like to think on this thread. I don't like to see or hear about animal cruelty, but i'm not going to say that all animal deaths are senseless. if you eat meat, you state with your actions that you don't 100% mind animals dying. bold statement, but honestly ....

Don't know where the bible talk got brought into here - I personally put my family's well being before anything else, and I suppose having been a soldier I've got a somewhat biased opinion on the welfare of all humans being an important part of the planet.

If you want to get down to a scientific standpoint, as in nit and pick, a single human being has more potential to do good on this planet - as well as bad - than a hundred snakes, cats, lizards, or whatever you want to make an argument for.

It is our job as the higher form of life on this planet to ensure the well being of everything else here, but to me an animals life does not take presidence over a humans - and that's just my opinion.

Do I think it's right to go out and randomly kill animals to the point of extinction for sport of personal gain? No. Do I think it's OK to kill a black mamba because it's wandered into a village where people are exposed to an aggressive and deadly animal? Yes. Do I think it's OK to kill a non-native species that's been introduced and is threatening all native species well being? Yes.

It's really a cut and dry case, and where people get off thinking it's just OK for a bunch of reticulated pythons to run amok in the Everglades, or allow a rattlesnake to creep around where kids play - is beyond my comprehension. End of story.

The fact that everyone on this site thinks it's OK to take pets out of their natural habitat and throw them into a cage for your own enjoyment is a testament to how empathetic you are to animals to begin with.
