Tiretrack Eel Questions?

Ya know, when I first got him he was out ALL the time and he was not as round as he is now. At the time I was only feeding bloodworms and other small frozen foods. I came to realize I think he was out all the time because he was hungry looking for food. Once I started feeding the frozen krill he ate like a pig and stays in his cave until evening. This boy EATS. Anyhow once I started the frozen frill and shrimp his growth took off. He has always been a good one and not to shy, sometimes it is just their personality.

Here's mine i have two of them the bigger one is around 18-19 inches (hide in the slate cave i made) and the other is about 16-17 inches. They are in a 75g tank

This pic is before i removed the sand because im gonna sell my tank and will get a bigger one around 100g. Just waiting for the tank and the stand to be delivered.

do they show any aggression towards each other one they get larger

Yeah, I wondered the same thing. I had always read that they didn't like others of there kind.

These are the coolest fish!
 
did a wc yesterday to find out the one of the eels has grown alot while the other still hasnt grown too much....so now i have 1 fat one around 12 in...other one skinny round 9 in....
 
theyll mainly fight over hiding spots from what ive seen i had a tire track eel that was 4 inch's when i got him he grew to 10 inchs in a year and a half he always loved just chillin inside the filters. i hated that but still provide caves or atleast pvc pipe for them to hide in like 2 for each one and they wont fight. but also all fish fight every once in a while
