Are you sure they get to 18 inches-I was told around 8-10 inches?

Nice Sun Catfish. I just bought one about 8" for $20.

I think that may have been my post. That is the max anywhere, including the wild, In aquariums I beleive the top size is 14-16 inches for a big one in captivity.

not usually quite that size but they get to 12 inches pretty often if you take care of it
