LOL, We all started somewhere, I've been doing this for some time now and will eventually have some giant cat's like yours. I wish you were my neighbor, we would have had all your fish netted and filmed like yesterday.lol.
Like he said that is one awesome setup!!!!!!!!! Can't wait till you figure out how to get the rtc's up, You should by a hand held scale, and just weigh them while they are still in the net so it is quick and painless, not much stress. I am so curious how much those monsters weigh!!!
The rubber net sounds like a good idea, a regular fishing net might tear there fins up pretty bad or worse they might get tangled up and you will have to cut them free. They make huge sock net's for koi purposes that might be gentle enough to not harm the rtc's fins and prevent the spikes from getting stuck. I think if you try and herd them into anything in that large of a setup that you would probably just be wasting your time.
Great setup, great vid's, great fish, keep them coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:popcorn::popcorn:
