Your pond look's good as ever, very nice on the FRT! I bet he is so much fun to watch swim in there. All the aro's in the tank look really good, can't wait to see them in your pond.
I would stay away from the driftwood also. For the reasons you mentioned, and for the fact that it might turn your water yellow. With that much and deep of water I wouldn't chance it, you might not be able to see the bottom, and your pond is so clear right now.
On a side note, it must be hard being away from your fish for such long periods of time.

haha thanks...yeh its pretty hard but i have people sending me updates every once in a while so i dont feel too bad. and they are in very good hands!

haha i pet my large rtcs and the silvers all the time. they are very human-tame which is bad cuz they wont run away from people trying to steal them :s

yeh bro they pretty much all have dropeye. very very common cuz of in-breeding and watnot. plus sum people believe that it may be the fatty food we feed them since they only eat insects in the wild. who knows?

sorry bro i have absolutely NO CLUE! i dont even have a pH kit at home. my fish are all really hardcore so i never have to check. only wen my pond guy first put water into the pond :s
