PS: count down in on for me: 17 days until my 'children' arrive from Singapore. Going back home to check on cycling of their home...<sigh> ... and adding some gravel to the bottom (my father INSISTED this time)
just a little UPDATE! the water features for the pond have now been complete...the pond is now half full with water....tomorow they r gona continue filling the water (takes about 2-3 days) and installing the pump, filter media, pond lights and the wooden deck over the filter box. the man has also put all the water conditioners and these crystals that purify the water for the fish...aparently these crystals only need to be mixed into the water for 1 or 2 days which means that the tester goldfish go in TOMOROW (monday) and my fish go in wednesday as planned. technology is pretty crazy considering that with old water conditioners, it took about a few weeks to cycle a new pond but now only like a few days!TLkmDN;2423369;2423369 said:niceee man...the longer the wait the better the rewardand yupz the next photos shall be fish photos of the fish being transferred into the new homes on wednesday! ie. 5 days from now! keep a lookout!
yeh dw this isnt the first time the men have put water into the pond so i think the cement issue is dealt with...he insists the crystal technology is sufficient for the water to be adequate for fish so i dont think the tester goldfish will die. in fact he used this same technique for my old pond and the fish were fine. we will see wat happens :s.headbanger_jib;2430611;2430611 said:oh the pond is almost done and tester feeders LOL
but on a serious note why the tester fish
but you will have to wast that damn huge pond a few times before you leave fish as cement content might actually harm them, had lost a few prized koi to that
i am waiting for more pics of your cats, preferably profile view
those RTCs and TSNs are really gonna enjoy this new pond
