  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
mine only eat live food...and only from ME
dojo loaches
clown loaches
goldfish
koi
shrimps
mollies
guppies
frogs
ans sometimes when im in good mood they get to eat smaller snakeheads

i am now feeding little goldfish feeders to them
my red sh is around 6 inch..how many feeders should i give them each day?

is it good enough to feed them with feeders( goldfish) only?
or they might need something else as well? pellets...worms...etc..

Hi,

always feeding all the same is not enough.
Vary the diet, start as early as possible to get the fish used to various food.
If they dont learn it at young age, they often never will, and this causes health problems

Hi guys, about the snakeheads. I have a couple that love big earthworms but i was thinking now in England the tadpoles are beginning to appear. What do you think about feeding them these??

Hello everyone
I think the best diet for all the smaller Snakehead species are live Insects, i wouldn't feed alot of fish to them. Smaller species won't have the chance to eat lots of fish, they come from small ponds without many other fish in there. They catch things like mosquitoes and spiders that fall into the water. For all the lager species are Fish of course the perfect diet. I wouldn't recommend meat as a diet, it's just not natural and their organs just arent designed to digest meat. But the most important thing is that their diet is diversified.

Tadpoles would make a good diet to, but most of them are protected, so it isn't probably the best idea. They could have diseases to.
