id buy a bichir to go along with them but im afraid that it would fit into the brown knifefish's mouth. at least the ones at petsmart would.

although they do have one there thats about 1.5 inches, but im not sure if a three inch brown knifefish would find that a meal.

Buy your knifes in doubles or triples no regrets... Test waters with a few goldfish if your unsure of your water quality. If the knifes are 3inchs or so there kinda fragile till they hit about 7 inches. After 12 inches there pratically impossible to kill.

Show me an ABK over twelve inches. Nitrofish, they should be fine but there are individual temperments like any other. Most of the time we have multiples in the tank without problems, the new one today is chasing the others around. Try it out, give plenty of hiding spots, and as mentioned there is a 14 day guarantee.

i saw some new ABK's at petsmart that were apporaching 6 inches, but i found out that the two big ones came with a body fungus guarantee, so they died. my small one is doing great though. wish i couldve gotten a BGK, but i like the one i have.
