To Dovii or Not to Dovii

ok well yes, if i go dovii im not going to go for any crappy LFS dovii.

ill wait to my mate who does lots of conkel and rapps orders and try to get some F0 - F1 growouts for a pair.

so which would you go with?? conkels dovii or rapps???

also i know there is the costa rican dovii and the nicaragua species?? isnt the nic species the deeper bodied bluer species??

Costa Rican Dovii have alot of red sheen to them. Alot and have blue but not as strong as Nic's. Nics are mostly brown to white with red dots and loads of blue. I would say get some Nic f1's from Rapps.

I didn't vote. Did you count me as Dovii? If not, I agree with Cross about finding a stunning pair. If it's just a run of the mill dovii couple, go with community.

ok thanks yeh i looked on conkels site and on rapps and they both only have nic anyways. but i wont get any crappy LFS dovii if i do end up getting dovii, ill go for the real thing!!

That was the line that confused me..... So I now assume you are NOT intending to put a pair in a community (regardless of how that reads). So, if the choice is community OR pair of dovii...... it's still a matter of tankspace but I'd go with the dovii pair myself.

sorry after re-reading the thread myself i know what your saying i by saying that i meant the what was going to be a community tank into a dovii

tank space isnt a worry ive got enough room for either the dovii pair or the community.
