I said on a majority level (Mostly idiots on youtube. and college kids aren't rednecks for the most part lol.) I know, and what I meant to say that is why piranhas have a bad name, but I forgot to say it. Lol.

I agree. My first two "big fish" I got were my BP's when they were an inch long. I still have them and I love them so much. I have 7 now. I could care less if they are hybrid. They are personable, and IMO a great fish. It's like some people forget, or are just not as good at their "soft skills" to say a comment and not come off sounding like a complete ****. THere are always going to be a few ***** that are going to troll, and stick their noses in, just to get a reaction... Not much we can do there. But well said

lol so who said what to you to go off on a crazy rant like that? not that it matters or should matter. As someone already pointed out this is a forum full of opinions so dont take it so personal when someone disagrees with yours. It is funny though that u think people are rednecks that keep piranha. I'm glad my wife doesn't think that way, I'd hate for her to make me get rid of mine.
Red neck piranha keeper out!

Wait people have problems with Blood Parrots other than the fact that they're silly looking? News to me....
j/k
Anyway about the flaming....
Stick around for awhile and watch 19 out of 20 kids who show up flaunting their new pacu in a 10g completely ignore the advice given and see if you dont get a little irritated at the next newbie to poke his head in the door. Doesn't justify it no, but we all snap at people once and awhile.

wow. ... That is a lot to let out at once. :nilly::grinno:
I can honestly say ive never heard or seen anyone diss a blood parrot. In fact I got my mom one for her tank a while back and she loves it.

I appreciate what you've said, but you really shouldn't care when some loser makes rude comments to you.
Unfortunately, not all people think similarly like we do. I understand how a person feels if he was belittled in the public forum and therefore understood how he would fire back to get even with the comments he felt, were uncalled for. Regardless, should you feel intervention by staff is necessary, please report the issues immediately to the staff and we will deal with them as necessary as possible.

i just feel sorry though for all the noobies who cant grasp that they have made an error, in which they give up on such a great hobby that everyone young, old and... the just plain wierd can enjoy easily and people make them feel like they cant ever actually do anything right and thank's for reminding me about my shoddy grammar, and yes i've made beginner mistake's and i have learned from these mistake's and i now own a happy tank. I would'nt mind owning a shoal of piranha for a couple of month's so i can say i have had them and who know's maybe when i get my own house and have a fish house full of tank's maybe ill buy a rainbow snakehead but some people love watching piranha shoal about but the folk who just buy them just to laugh when they feed them, but if you enjoy watching a single channa cruising the tank then fine you like it but then same again people buy 'em to watch them kill another little fish and that is alot of non-social youth's watch them feed. this guy in my street was bragging about how he used to feed live fish and mice to his shoal of piranha, and i find that to be dull and totally depressing apparently they "tried to rip his hand off" they're the most skittish fish known to man and he has no knowledge on water changes and care and im standing they're like WTF is wrong with you! he also mentioned his giant 45 gal as i walked away to go and :wall::barf:
