dont know if u r referring to me on tis post but..
i dont mind if everyone gets on me ... its all valuable learning experience for me : ) .... and it wasnt like totally my fault since i did my part, the lfs didnt, as a supposedly well known LFS , THEY should know how to pack and ship... but then i admit it was partially my fault for not being the actual person there to see them pack properly and load onto the truck , but im only a student x_x i have school 25 miles from the lfs ... they take fish in the morning and ship it out in the afternoon and i had no way to get to the lfs to witness the packing process ...

Didn't mean to sound like I was flaming you, not what I meant at all.

no learned it from other threads and books and please nobody hate on the shipper he is a nice guy an came out to tell all of us he is the seller it happened i saved them thats all that matter to me now

Couple months ago a guy posted about bringing fish back from the dead by holding them in front of a powerhead. Said it took quite a while and people got on him, some saying that it wasn't worth the time and some calling bs. Just thinking how perfect that would be. Not getting on the shipper at all, didn't know who it was and since it all worked out so well, good learning experience for everyone.:)

Seriously I'm happy to hear they made it. the weather in NY has been rediculously COLD. I've have no experience with shipped fish. Have always been a little skepticle due to the fact most places I would want to order from are so far away. Your story gives me courage to give it a shot(in the summer!). Thanks for sharing.

it happens but now you understand why i did not want to ship you my babys so you wouldnt go thru this

: ) haha yea, i understand now : ) and especially wit next day shipping that u were gonna do , wat if they get stuck in a ny warehouse somewhere for a night , that'd be bad :P glad u didnt ship them to me now : ) when summer comes though, i'd be happy to get stuff from u ;)

Glad you were able to pull them back from the edge.Ive got "frozen fish" shipped to me as well and yea they can be saved.Good to have threads like this, if the shipped fish look cold and dead DONT GIVE UP!!!
Even the best shipper can have a bad day they made it thats what matters.
Good luck with them hope they live a long time!

HAHA... Every1 got on me calling my thread BS but I don't care. It can be done and here is more proof. Frozen fish can be saved and imo it is ALWAYS worth the effort with just about any fish! Good job on the recovery bro! Glad they made it!

That's the thread I was talking about. I found it informative but alot flamed him for it taking too long to accomplish and not worth the effort.
