I've seen worse. IMO, that doesn't look that bad. CLEAN water, salt, high temps and aeration is all it need. As long as the Kelberi is eating and moving, it'll be alright. Best of luck on a speedy recovery.
I had an Orino got beat up that bad from the Azul. The meat/muscle around the wound got rotten, and could never heal. He hung on for a week, and decided to pull the plug on him. Good luck bro.
thanks john. i have till friday to care for it before i go to frisco. i will see how his progression is by then if i see some improvements in his tail fins and his skin, i will let him live but if not i will pull the plug on it.
