I stopped by Gary's today after I read your post and there weren't any Krobia. He told me he hadn't seen any. Maybe you saw the Laetacara curviceps they got in? They are similar in shape and look like young Krobia Xingu.

That must be the case. My fault. Well, I still will check this thread for more news of the odd Notatus. At least you know that he has very strong parental instincts. I've never seen anything like this before.
