Agreed. I’ve had a Nikon in my hand in some form or another since 1970. Technology has come a long way. The basics, however, remain the same.

It’s an infrared remote trigger. Some Nikons have a built in “commander mode”. The D850 does not.

Unfortunately the fry that I did get did not make it. As I said previously, it's difficult to pull them out of the group. Soon as I put in the net, they all look the same with fright coloration. I have more juveniles in the tank and more to come. It's a patience game for me. And honestly, if it happens, cool...if not...eh.
