Found these little white worms in different thicknesses... A positive ID would be helpful..

Fish seem fine water checks out fine...

I do daily water changes of 20% i feed the inhabitants in this tank once a day what they can eat in 5 minutes.

I did a slow ph change on the tank from 6.0 to 7.0 over the course of 2 weeks with Monday being the last to make it easier for me because my tap water is 7.0. today i am dumbfounded as to why these guys are all over the tank... I feed minimal.. and what ever is left over gets vacuumed out after the water change...

I think these are harmless nematoads but i want to make sure 100%...

this tank is barebottom...

Tough to have those with a barebottom tank. Had a few in mine that would hold onto plants n other stuff. Those seem to appear often, even if you dont feed a lot and are clean. Some airheads helped in my tank, made them unable to just sit idly on the bottom

I used to have this problem, I reduced the amount of food to what the fish would eat in 1 minute.

Its a common bacteria in ALL fish tanks. It is from fish foods and normal fish muck.

They're not a problem unless you don't do normal water changes.

In fact some fish will even eat them and its not a bad thing!

Guys i think that planaria a white worm which grows from the uneaten food left on the gravel.
what i do is clean the glass of the tank and add salt it grow less but not disspeared
.
Also
i fed my fishes blood worm on 7th feb 2009 when i brought my new Flowerhorn and Saum.
Amazed to see
today a saw a lot of blood worm from the gravel.
what i did i removed the gravel all out of the tank and let them eat what they can
will add the gravel after drying it to the tank
I dont think
the blood worm do any harm to the fishes.

the other white spots near the worm tells the story that the positive Id is planaria.

why do you do 20% water changes evreyday?
what fish do you have in your tank?
what are your water paremeters (define fine)?
how big is your tank?

what you have is planaria when i get this i do a big water change and dont feed my fish for a couple of days. this is caused by over feeding imo.feed your fish what they can eat in 1 min and add food gradually throughout that minute dont just throw in the food and remove it after 1 min.

That's planaria, I get it from time to time in my fish tanks. I think it lives in my turtle tank's filter. It's not always a sign of bad water more a sign of left over food in the tank that something has to eat.
