Well starting the thread named "Too many fish?" was more just to start interest. I know that is way too many fish for a 55 gallon but thats not the point, its more an experiment to get the baddest fish of the bunch. When you said :

"I seriously doubt a JD, Texas, Choc, Con, GT, deformed Midas or even a Freddy would end up ruling that tank when competing with a trimac, FH, BB, RD/Midas and RT. So why would you bother adding them? That's just f*cked up IMO.

You would be wrong because the chocolate cichlid, and the deformed midas are 2 of the top 4 baddest in the tank, along with the flowerhorn, and red terror.

They're not fully grown. ;)

Nor will they ever be full grown in my care, remember its a 55 ?

I don't think anyone can forget that's it's only a 55.
So you have the baddest 4, why keep the others? Why not start the culling process already?
I think you knew damn well what you're posting about and you know damn well it's not gonna sit well with some people. Do you care? Obviously not. And that's fine.
Buying a fish just to get rid of it is irresponsible. Period.

l3gend504, I'm in florida too, I'll take that chocolate cichlid off your hands if it helps alleviate the situation.

Wait...you're not a girl are you? Cause if you are we could settle this in a kiddy pool full of honey. Gotta be careful though. I fight dirty.
