The money is in importation/which I call the exploitation of these animals. I breed enough aniamls to where they pay for their own food. I think this is the best way to do it, it keeps it fun and manageable, imagine having a place like clarks?
Even clark is having a hard time trying to sell his animals, lots of states are requiring people to be licensed for large constrictors and the market is flooded with designer animals.
self sustainable hobby is a nice aim.

holy cow just kidding.hey should i make a breeding for cash thread or is there anyone else who's really had to thin things out? Thanks for all your info and stories. The extra cash i made for a few years breeding beardies was a blessing ill never forget.Petco and mart have really screwed that up.Though the money was good, the ppl buying them were schmucks! The ppl putting a baby i hatched into a tiny ars little cage with no heat or whatever is what really ruined all that for me.p.s.separating the hundreds of little pinheads sucked real good too.
