Sometimes some people won't listen no matter what you say .... or how you say it. Totally off topic but a prime example ... my wife was constantly driving on flat tires ... to the point I lost track of how many tires I've replaced in 5 years. She'd even argue with me about it ... it wasn't until a co-worker of hers explained it to her (using the exact same words as me) that she finally clued in.
Someone suggested directing her to this site ... good idea ... it's done wonders for me. And maybe she'll connect with someone on here who she's willing to listen to and follow said advice.

Theres people that actually want to learn how to improve their aquaria habits, and then theres people that dont care, make excuses or just think they are right. Help the ones that want help and ignore the rest, nothing else you can do...

Doubt this is headed anywhere useful. MFK is not a site where you can act like an elitist. People can be at different stages in the hobby. Some experts, some not. This gives no one a right to bash others, especially using terms many deem offensive.
