Great pics and stock:) you definitely have some really nice fish. how big is the female istlanum? she looks a breedable size. from my expirience with them you'll most likely have to work with a divider for a lil while if not the whole time. have you thought of placing her with male in divided tank? she might just do the deed thru the divider untill shes big enough to deal with the male without the divider. i know if you do spawn them ill be hitting you up;)

Thanks!!! Thats how I have them setup now. The male has about 2/3 of a 75g tank and she has the other smaller section. She is always trying to attack him through the divider but he doesn't show much interest in her. She's about 3.5" so she should be getting close to breeding size but the male is easily 9" now and would make short work of her without the divider. Once she get 5" or so I might try to cut a hole and see what happens.

jgentry, those are such beautiful fish ! :headbang2 I had never known that there are calico convicts! Your "Escondido" makes me drool ! ......:headbang2 Great pix !!!

God those Salvini are awsome. Going to devote a 55g for a pair myself too. Wish I didn't get rid of a past pair, but had no choice. Awsome Jgentry. That male is spectacular.

JD, can we see some orange head pics?

They are my most neglected fish. I never seem to take any pics of them. I have several other fish I never seem to take pics of to. I'm not sure why I never do:screwy:.
