Nice looking fish!
My large male is from the original wild import. I believe about 4 years ago or so if I remember correctly. He has very slowly added 0.25" or so each of the last couple years. I have a few F1's from him that I kept that are just getting close to 10" that are about 2.5 years old. Once they get to 9" or so they seem to really slow down or stop growing.
