Got some baby Iggies from a rescue, wasn't really prepared for them and I have never kept them before, but they are here and I am taking care of them the best I can and doing some research on Iggies. I have them in a 40 gal tall for right now, lots of branches and stuff to climb, ambient temp is around 85 degrees, with a 95 degree basking area. All I have are screen lids so I rigged it up with a garbage bag and tape so that it keeps the humidity in. One of them is a really bright green and active, but the other might be ill, its a more olive green color and just basks all day with its eyes closed for the most part. also this morning I found it lying on the bottom of the tank on its back, and thought it was dead, but as soon as I opened the lid it scuttle off up his branch. Thoughts on this?

Big isn't an Issue, I keep Monitors, Sulcata's and Alligator Snappers, Iggies just haven't ever registered on my radar until now

lol ok i was just saying cause ppl dont realize the adult size

good cant wait to see them bigger

well hopefully the smaller one isn't sick, that is my first concern

is it eating?

you should have a cool side in the tank 75 degrees is good also mist them everyday.
do you got a uvb bulb this is super important for these lil guys and give them culcium and vatimins with their diet and what are you feeding them

No, its not eating at all but it will lap up water after I mist it. The other one is eating, but not much. Their diet is all veggie, right now they have dandelions, Zucchini, squash, and some kale in their dish. I have a 100 watt MVB over them for heat and UVB.

ok i see all u gota a do is get them to eat and ur set. get them as close as u can to the uvb this will increase their appitight and how old is the uvb bulb cuse they stop being effective after a year and their diet should be mostly greens kale and collor greens is good veggies are good but it shouldnt be the main diet 2-3 times a week mix some veggies thats fine. make sure to put calicum on der food and mix a lil fruit to there greens this will get them eating try it out see how it goes iggs are super fun mine are all free roamers now with a lil time youll have 2 huge lizards that have a ton of personality
