  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A 95 degree basking spot is like keeping them in a refridgerator......Needs to be 120 degrees +.......

And the one on the left looks an awful lot like a Spinytail........They don't eat Rabbit food at this point........

Can't help with advice, but you said one was on it's back?
I thought most lizards couldn't be upside-down because of some... Lung thing... LOL

You are correct and I think this Iggie is dying, it was ill in my eyes when I got it and it is getting worse, it can barely hold on to its perch and it keeps falling and it has waste smeared underneath its tail. At this point I am thinking of returning it to the rescue I got it from and seeing if they have healthier ones.

you can always try making a veggie smoothie for the sicker one.. i cant see the pics because i am at work but i have used the smoothies to help weak/sick reps before so its just a suggestion.. it might only need a little food for a bit of a jump start

Its a lost cause, took it too the vet and the little guys spine is broken in two places and he has a broken leg, not sure how it happened, but its safe to say he came in contact with some trauma previous to my picking him up.

sorry to hear that so what happened you put it down

Yeah, nothing the vet could do. And I have my basking spot at hundred and I am able to keep the other side of the tank at 80, but a higher basking temp would be too high in the tank I believe. That and they do not use the 100 degree spot as it is, they prefer the lower temp spot.
