if i does not take physical extertion or skill or pysical of some sort, it's not a sport, all these gameing things ect, are not sports. to train pysically to be good at football or other sports is one thing, but sitting in front of a TV mashing buttons, is not sport- if you belive it is, than you are a pathetic loser who needs to get out more, plain and simple.

Yeah, but you can get some tips watching really good players play.

I agree though, this isn't really a sport per se. Sports are generally something that requires physical activity.

Just because it's a competition doesn't make it a sport.

It does take really good reflexes and some major skill to play like that, but it's still not a sport. This would be like calling a music competition or something a sport. The musicians have to be really skilled at what they do and they are competing with each other (there may even be some physical exertion involved), but that's not the traditional definition of a sport.

That said, it's not new for ESPN to show things that don't fall under the traditional definition of a sport, so I'm not sure why this is surprising.

Oh, and I wish I played like the guys in that video. I haven't even played halo 3 multiplayer other than w/ one of my friend's and husband though, and I don't even have xbox live anymore, so I'm probably worse than most n00bs at this point lol.
