TOP 10 MOST AGGRESIVE CICHLIDS

They are not trying to say that about Oscars. They are just saying for the most part the fish on most of these list are 95 percent of the time aggressive. I am sure that your Oscar is aggressive but most of them are not. There are individual fish like your Oscar that is not the norm and does turn out to be quite aggressive. They are just asking for the top ten fish that are almost all aggressive. Most Oscars are not aggressive you just happen to come across one that is and that does happen.
 
I've already cleaned this thread up once, keep it polite towards one another please.

You can keep them on your list, it's fine. It doesn't really matter to me, I've decided it's all an opinion based on what one has experienced. :)

All types of cichlids will show some signs of aggression. But there are some species that are widely known to be aggressive and/or highly intolerant of tankmates. IMO that doesn't mean that every cichlid that bites or chases another fish deserves to be on the most aggressive list. There might need to be a thread about "The Most Aggressive fish that YOU have kept." I'm sure there are as many of those threads as there are of threads like this one though.

This is a perfect list. I could not make one better myself having owned all on the list but 2.

(2) Beani
(3) Dovii
(4) Haitiensis
(5) Festae
(6) Chancho
(7) Grammodes
(8) Neets

(10) Istlanum
 
This is my top ten most aggressive cichlids in order from knowledge and research. Please feel free to comment on this post.

1. Dovii after 8” to 10” the aggressiveness kicks in.
2. Beani is Always aggressive and I would put my money on a fully grown Beani against a 16” Dovii.
3. Black nasty is Always aggressive
4. Grammodes
5. Buttikoferi is Always aggressive
6. red tiger motaguese
7. managuese
8. black belt
9. Trimac
10. Between Festae and 5 star Jewel
