I got one of mine last year...
Are you a fan of Star Wars? It looks like a live action figure of Yoda!
Of course I'm a fan of Star Wars.
But he's named after Star GATE. Much better series.
My list is rather conservative, I am not big on insanely exotic pets.
1) Cape Kurper (Sandelia capensis)
An endemic to SA that's related to gouramis but acts like a cichlid. Manageable size too:
2) Golden cave catfish (Clarias cavernicola)
While collecting these for an aquarium would be hugely irresponsible and illegal, it would be a dream to work with these unusual cave fish
3) A rescue dog/cat
Rather simple but I adore shelter dogs and cats. Will definitely adopt one day.

I love this kind of threads. But you need to be a little more specific. Do I get infinite budget? Am I invincible against international law?
If so then here's my list
1. Lutino Blue & Gold (prohibitively expensive)
2. Duck Billed Platypus with a huge indoor pond (just look at this thing!)

That Lutino Blue and Gold is amazing, I may have to change one of my choices.
I chose Camalot due it looking like a giant version of my boy Phoenix, sorta lol
