Use to love the original Iron Chef japanese. But I have ate the food from Season 2 the episode Tom Douglas vs Masaharu Morimoto, Wild Chinook Salmon. It was one of the best meals i ever had. My brother had gotten tickets and we got to watch the episode the night it aired while they prepared the dinner.

But tbh haven't watched an episode since. I like to eat not watch great food i can't eat lol

So, despite the fact that we all would agree that the talent level is low this season, but regardless there will still be a winner. For those who watch, who do you think it will be? I've already said I believe that it will be Jeff, what do you guys (and gals) think?

been a chef from age 17 to now 41.When they come up with a show more realistic i will watch.I would like to see any of them cook 800 dinners in four hours with foreign dish washers, stoned cooks, not so bright waters/waitresses,and 100 degrees.

agreed
This is why I need a new career.
Not to mention, on your feet for 12 to 15 hours a day, no loyality or appreciation whats so ever, no retirement or benifits, no vacation, no life.
Working with people with absolutly no morals, baby sitting kids that don't want to be there...........
This is why Chef's become alcoholics.

No way there would be a camera crew in a real kitchen...can you imagine the the threats to the camera crew to get the ____ out of the way or else, while the chef and cooks swinging their knives in the air?

man getting appricaition as a chef sucks... i know your pain as well..... and the standing gets to you, either way, most of those cooking shows are simply bul****, i know a chef that was on iron chef america against kat and lost and the food network said to him we have to make her win cause we have to much money invested in her........ its all bull****..... either way.. us chefs never get noticed =[

I went to Culinary school with one of the girls from the first season. Yeah...she wasn't that great in school and obiviously in the show, LOL.

I guess its time to have "sex with meat". The more I watch this show, the less I take it seriously.
