Top cichlids you must have

1st off start with a shoal of convicts male and female,a couple dovii,and a pair of black belts

Most likely I will do a dovii pair on one of the tanks . I have always loved dovii .... but i think I'm leaning towards a group of small cichlids convits , firemouths, salvini maybe some rams if other fish not aggressive with lots of drift wood and rocks and some type of schooling top swimmers

well the first and most obvious thing to do with one of those tanks is to box it up and ship it to me. you definitely dont have time for two big tanks and dont need the hassle of trying to sell it so I'll take it off your hands free of charge lol.

first tank an umbee pair. or a mff red terror group with maybe a lima shovelnose cat or big pleco.

second tank would be a community. severums, acaras, a couple plecos, silver dollars, a shoal of ornate pimelodus and a group of geophagus for sure. if its a tall 500 a school of chalceus or brycon falcatus would be really impressive for the topwater.

yeah south american cichlid communities are my favorite setup for sure. ive never been able to pull off the ornatus shoal but its my dream one day. with a 500 you have so many options though. excited for you good luck.
